Just keep swimmig!

Today was a big day for Jace, it was his first morning of mommy and me swim lessons. The thought of them made me nervous because normally Jace likes to do his own thing in the pool, but to my surprise he did really well! He loved pushing off the wall, and floating on his belly with the noodles. Although he kept watching the bigger boys swimming and kept asking me for more but I assured him one day he could be in the big boy class. I'm so glad he enjoyed himself, and I loved having special time with my little buddy.

19 months!

Yesterday Mr. Jace you turned 19 months old, 19 months! How can that possibly be? I feel like time is flying by and a part of me wishes I could slow it down just for a bit. The baby in you is slowly slipping out of my grasp. While I absolutely love watching you grow into this beautiful blonde bubbly little boy it reminds me that time of your babyhood is coming to an end. I so miss my sweet cuddly baby boy. You are very independent, you think you can do it all. Your wonderful Two's are coming faster than I can imagine and you definitely have the attitude to prove it ;] you love to play with cars, in fact you took mommy's nice camera and scuffed it across the tile floor pretending it was a car! You get so excited over trucks, school busses, and airplanes! You love Buzz light year we must watch it 5 times a day. Toy story 2 is your personal favorite. I can always find you singing or humming. You sing your abc's so well. I'm sure you will be musically inclined when you are older. You recently decided you needed a binky, how or why I'm not sure but you always have one near by! You call your blanket your me and you wont go anywhere without it in your hand. You have slowed down on your appetite. The only thing I can really get you to eat is hotdogs (which you make me sing the song with each bite), eggs, fruit funs and cereal bars! Oh Jace I wish I could formulate into words how much I love you and how blessed I am to be your mommy. No matter how big you think you are, you will always be mommy's baby. <3

Our very own Minnie Mouse!

Jace loves Mickey and Minnie mouse. Like loves them. If he sees something with one of them on it he goes ballistic! It's super cute how excited he can get, like huffing and puffing and squealing with delight. Well the other night I was cleaning out an old box of stuff and came across some Minnie Mouse ears I had. I pulled them out with intentions of giving them to my niece that also loves Mickey and Minnie. Well you would have thought I pulled the real life thing out, Jace was so excited. In fact he has not stopped wearing the ears. He even slept with them clenched in his sweet little fist! I'm hoping to get some Mickey mouse ones and replace them with the beloved Minnie mouse ears! But for now he sure does make a cute Minnie ;]

Oh man, I let it happen, I fell behind in my blogging. It gets so hard to find time to sit down and blog when I have a very active 18 month old zooming around. To better solve this problem I downloaded the blogger app for my iPhone so I'm hoping that helps! Well almost a month has passed since my last blog and in that month.....

I tripped over Jace while admiring our new mantle and broke my right arm.

That same night ^^ my cousin Mike and his fiancée Felisa came to visit us over night!

My nephew Graham was born!

Jace and I went to California for two weeks to see baby Graham and the rest of my family!

We went to Sea World with my parents while we were in CA.

We rode in a hot air balloon in Irvine, Ca. Jace loved it, I on the other hand had a panic attack!

I'm really glad to get back to blogging!I promise I won't get off track this time!
