Mommy Dearest

I have always loved Mothers day, but this year was even more special. I was a MOM and Jace and Sean were celebrating me! And while I will be a mom for the rest of my life, there is something special about celebrating your first mothers day! We started our mothers day celebration on Saturday. Ontario Nazarene, the church my brother in law is a pastor at, was having a mothers day brunch. My sister, mom and my sisters mother in law all went. We had a really nice time! I was a little bummed about Sunday because I had originally planned on going to a nice breakfast that morning with my boys but unfortunately Sean got scheduled to work in the morning. When I woke up Sean was already at work. I walked out into the living room and sitting on the table were BEAUTIFUL flowers and a really big gift bag. I was shocked! Flowers are always such a nice surprise. As much as I wanted to open the present sooooo badly.... I held it out until Sean was home from work. He got me the Petunia Pickle Bottom boxy diaper bag I had been eyeing for quite a while! He was so sweet and so thoughtful! We then headed over to his moms house to hang out with them for a little bit. On the way home we stopped for lunch, I picked Rubios. Its one of my favorites. We then went back home to my moms house and all of my family came over for dinner. It was such a nice day celebrating the wonderful women in our lives!
