I can not believe in 2 days my baby boy will be gasp, 15 months! Where did the time go? I am so in love with this little man its hard to believe hes only been on this earth for 14 short months. I try to imagine what my life was like before without him and it just seems so empty. Well as you most know Jace is a man of many personalities haha! He is definitely a mama's boy (unless aunt Lynne or Grandma are around) and then he is like mommy who?! He loves to snuggle but then a not so snuggly Jace comes out and he loves to bite and test his limits! But then again what child doesnt? He loves to sing, he walks around the house singing, its the sweetest thing. He has an obsession with sunglasses and tooth brushes, if he sees them good luck getting him to focus on anything else. He loves to take my phone and say cheese, I guess I'm mamarazzi! :D Sprout tv is on 24/7 in this house... Barney, Caillou, The Wiggles, Bob the Builder, Sesame Street all of his favorites. He loves his Elmo the most though and his two, yes two Caillou dolls. He still loves his baby signing time and asks for baby on the tv! He also loves his baby dolls. He kisses them and pushes them in his shopping cart. His new favorite thing to do is play cars, we roll them around every where and he even makes a vroom noise, he is precious! He finally has hair, and quite a bit of it! Its coming in thick and curly and very blonde (even though in pictures it looks reddish, its not) and after bath time its a crazy hot mess. I love doing it though in little faux hawks, just like daddy! Bath time is a favorite, as soon as he is done with dinner he waits not so patiently by the stairs for me to start bath time. He loves to swim in the bath... he actually lays on his tummy and slides back and forth, my little fishy! He learned a new face, the fish face and insists on doing it all day long! :] he recently just cut his first molar (top on the right) he did exceptionally well with it! He still loves to bite mommy... I think he just gets carried away with excitement and it comes out in the form of biting! We are working on it! Molly dog is his best friend... still working on gentle with her too. He wants to squeeze and pull and love her and Molly is not so sure about it all. He is on sippy cups only, no more bottles... he has been since 13 months! My big boy! One day I just tried a sippy cup and he took milk in it, so I replaced his next bottle with the cup and sure enough that was the day we put the bottles away! Made me sad, finally realized my baby is growing up whether Im ready or not! His signing vocab is incredible. He signs words I didnt even realize he knew! He also really loves to talk, and ever since getting his tubes says more and more words daily. His newest words, baby, stop, snack and bye bye! He loves his snacks, cheezits, cheese puffs, string cheese, fruit funs and fruit, especially blackberries and strawberries. Im so in love with this little boy and how much joy and brightness he has brought into my life. Even on our not so happy days, I am so honored to be his mommy.
