The morning of our flight home my alarm never went off, go figure! The bags were packed the night before but i just wanted to have the time not to rush! Well we got up at ten to 8 and had to leave at 8:30. We had to run by CVS to pick up some baby wipes since Jace is a 4-6 times a day pooper and I wanted to make sure we had enough (good thing the first 2 hours into the flight he had gone 3 times) well we ended up getting stuck in traffic, i was so afraid we were going to miss our flight. Check in went smoothly and we thought we were ahead of time so we stopped at Burger King to bring some food on the plane (dont you love sitting next to those people ha!) well that turned into a bigger fiasco they apparently ran out of veggie burgers but failed to tell us after 6 mins of waiting for our food! I decided to go to the gate to get the tag for the stroller and my mom would meet me there, i left the boarding passes with her. Once at the terminal they were already half way through boarding! I started panicking since it was a full flight and we had a bit of stuff to haul! Well my mom finally arrived and we boarded near the end but made it, although burger king forgot Jace's food, ugh! Jace was an amazing traveler, like always! He played the first hour and a half then went to sleep for the remainder of the flight! He was born to be a traveler!
We had such an amazing trip back home but after ten days I was ready to go home to Sean. I never imagined I would be so excited to go home to Illinois, but it definitely felt nice to be back there. I loved seeing my family at home in California and was so thankful that I got to be there for so long.
